Exhibition Logistics in Dubai: Trade Show & Event Shipments
At a trade show, there is no second chance. If your stand, samples or demonstration machine arrive late, the opportunity is gone. Dubai hosts a busy calendar of international exhibitions and conferences, and our exhibition logistics service in Dubai makes sure exhibitors' goods arrive at the venue on time, clear customs correctly and go home again afterwards.
We work with exhibitors, stand builders, event organisers and agencies, from a single pop-up display to large pavilions with heavy machinery.
What's included in our exhibition logistics service
- Pre-show planning around the organiser's deadlines, venue rules and move-in schedules.
- Transport to Dubai by air, sea or road from anywhere in the world, timed to arrive before move-in.
- Customs clearance, including temporary import for goods that will leave after the show and ATA Carnet handling where applicable.
- Venue delivery to your stand at the scheduled time slot, with forklifts and labour arranged.
- Empty case storage during the show, with cases returned for repacking at the end.
- Breakdown and return: repacking, collection from the stand, and shipping home or onward to the next event.
- Local sales and duty payment if you sell display items or give away samples during the event.
Temporary import and ATA Carnets
Most exhibition goods do not stay in the UAE, so there is no reason to pay full import duty on them. Under temporary admission, goods can enter for the event against a guarantee or deposit that is released when they are re-exported. An ATA Carnet, an international customs document issued by chambers of commerce, can simplify this process further for goods travelling between participating countries. We advise which route suits your goods and prepare the paperwork.
Goods that are consumed or sold at the show, such as brochures, giveaways and food samples, are usually subject to duty, so it helps to separate them in your packing list.
How exhibition shipping works
- Share your show details: event name, venue, stand number, dates and what you are bringing.
- Plan the timeline. We work back from the move-in date to set collection and shipping dates.
- Prepare documents. We help you create a detailed packing list, separating temporary items from consumables, and arrange carnet or temporary import paperwork.
- Ship and clear. Goods travel to Dubai and are cleared ahead of move-in.
- Deliver to stand. Our on-site team delivers to your stand during your allocated slot.
- Return. After the show, we collect, repack and ship your goods home or to your next event, and close the temporary import.

Exhibition Shipments: frequently asked questions
Do I have to pay import duty on exhibition goods in Dubai?
Goods that are displayed and then re-exported can usually enter under temporary admission, with a guarantee or deposit instead of paying duty. Items that are sold, given away or consumed at the show are normally subject to duty.
What is an ATA Carnet?
An ATA Carnet is an international customs document that allows goods such as exhibition materials and professional equipment to be imported temporarily without paying duties, in countries that accept it. It is issued by chambers of commerce and must be used according to its rules.
When should I book exhibition logistics?
Ideally four to six weeks before the show for sea freight, and two to three weeks for air freight, so there is time for documents, shipping and customs before move-in.
Can you deliver directly to my stand?
Yes. We deliver to your stand during your allocated move-in time and can provide labour and equipment for unloading, subject to the venue's rules.
What happens to my goods after the show?
We collect them from your stand, repack them, and either ship them home, send them to your next event, or store them in Dubai until you need them again.
